rosemary bread

i love the FOOD network magazine.  in this month's issue there's a recipe for rosemary bread; kind of like the macaroni grill's rosemary bread.  this is a good recipe!  serve it dipped in olive oil and kosher salt. add a shot of balsamic vinegar to the dipping oil, nice.

almost-famous rosemary bread

1 1/4 oz. packet dry yeast
2 tsp. sugar
2 T.  olive oil, plus more for brushing and serving
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
2 T. dried rosemarry
1 tsp. fine salt
1/2 tsp. kosher salt

1. in a lrg. bowl combine sugar, yeast and 1/4 c. warm water.  let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
2. add 1 T. olive oil, the flour, 1 1/2 T. rosemarry, the fine salt and 3/4 c. warm water.  mix until dough forms.
3. kneed by hand or use mixer.  let dough rise 2 hrs. punch down, let rest.  form into (4) balls.  let rise until double.  bake in 400 degree oven for about 10 min. or until golden.  brush with olive oil, remaining rosemarry, and kosher salt.  dip in olive oil/salt mixture.
