the BEST chewy chocolate chip cookies!!

hands down these are the

BEST chocolate chip cookies!
it's all because of one secret

ingredient.....instant vanilla pudding!

this makes the cookies super moist

and chewy.

here are some pictures of my oldest chicken

making his regular sunday chewy chocolate cookie recipes.

1 C butter

3/4 C brown sugar

1/4 C sugar

1 package instant vanilla pudding mix

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla extract

2-1/4 C all purpose flour

1 tsp. baking soda

2 C semisweet choc. chips

1 C chopped nuts (optional)

combine butter, sugars, and pudding.

add eggs one at a time.

beat in vanilla.

set aside.

in separate in bowl combine

flour, baking soda.

add to cream mixture.

mix in choc. chips, and nuts.

cook at 350

for 8-10 minutes.

enjoy!

it's a great way to let our family and

this year our church put on a dance

"a night in paris"

it was really fun and the decorations

were amazing!

(the budgets are always pretty tight)

the eiffel tower was made out of cardboard and

they hung little lights from fishing wire to simulate a night sky.

amazing,..right?

murrals were painted and hung.

they had a band.

yes,... it's been over a year

sense i started redoing my

master bedroom.

i feel like it's a constant work in progress.

well, i was so excited about the new

target line that i had to incorporate it

into my bedroom.

my bedroom is super feminine and light

and this new decor was going to go

perfect in my room!

from etsy.

the horse head is from target.

my new chevron pillow, and 3 pics. are

i must admit.

i don't usually decorate all from one store.

but, this was all PERFECT!!

last night i was officially introduced

to the super easy to apply

CHALK PAINT!!

at

they carry

Annie Sloan 

chalk paint and teach

classes on how to apply and

do different techniques!

i was super excited and was dieing to try it!

so, i decided to invite

some friends for a workshop!

we had a lot of fun and i can't wait to

to "embellish & restore" 

something else!

1.we used old cabinet doors.

2. painted the inside with

chalk paint.

3.picked an annie sloan chalk paint color.

4.painted around the edge.

5. dried FAST!

6. waxed.

7. some of the girls added a stain.

p.s...you can add hooks or handles to your board for cuteness.

i love getting our family pictures taken.

yes, it's a huge pain in the rear.

the outfits, whinny kids, making people laugh,

picking the location..blah..blah...blah.

it's just not fun in the midst of the craziness!

but, the end results make it all worth it.

bee's family 2011

we had 12 kids at our house for the holidays:  nine kids, a daughter and son-in-law and our sweet granddaughter.  our kids range in age from 25 down to 5, it was great! it's difficult for us to get a picture of all of us together but we did succeed thanks to moddy, my costco camera and savvy teenagers who have mastered picnik (photo editing).  enjoy!
