from day one i wanted a white slip covered couch.
so, last year i set out to buy one!
then,...reality hit me.
i have 4 kids!!
it just wasn't going to happen!
so, i got my brown microfiber couch, and i love it!!!
why, do i love it?!?!
1. i can whip it clean with baby whips
2. it doesn't show the dirt that i'm sure it is covered in.
3. it's comfy
4. when i want a change, i change the throw pillows!
(everything goes with brown!)

p.s. i didn't completely give up on my white couch.
i did get a white tufted couch for my living room. ;)
my kids know this is my "nice room".

We used to have chocolate colored "suede" slipcovers- like microfiber. I *LOVED* them- wipes for small messes- throw it in the wash for bigger ones. I agree- everything goes with brown and SO much more practical with kiddos. Our next couch will likely be brown or slip covered (maybe both).

ReplyDeleteI don't know, I'm still thinking of slipcovering my couch in white! Then I can just take off the covers and bleach them, you know? But brown is soooo much more practical . . .
